Materials to Buy:
SHOES: A white "keds" type tennis shoe is required for class.
Please notice you need a small thin sole, DO NOT buy shoes with a
thick sole! This shoe can be found at Target, Walmart, Payless, etc for
around $10. You can find them at Stride Rite for $30. You can get
them in canvas or leather but leather is preferred.
BATON: If you already have a baton please bring it to class.
Otherwise one can be ordered for $25 at the first class.
OPTIONAL SHOES:
Here are other shoes that you can purchase for the baton
competitions (optional). They are called "instep twirling shoes"
and can be found a lot of different places online by doing a
google search. You must buy them in White or Tan. Here's a
link to one place that has them: Fultons
WHAT TO WEAR TO CLASS: Comfortable clothing that allows you
to move without restrictions. Any type of sweat pants/shorts and
workout wear. Please NO jeans, skirts or dresses! And always wear
the dance shoe specified for each class that is pictured above.
COSTUMES: Everyone who wishes to participate in the
performances must purchase the costume. You will pay Jackie in
class at the beginning of the session when applicable.

Everyone participates in a group performance at the end of the session.
