Materials to Buy:
SHOES: There are two different types of shoes allowed for this class.
You may purchase either one but "Dance Sneaker" is preferred. The
shoes are required for both class and the performances.
DANCE SNEAKER-You can buy this shoe and other ones similar at
www.DiscountDance.com for a good price ($25 and up). You can also
buy this shoe at Capezio but it is much more expensive. You must buy
it in BLACK. This is called a "Dance Sneaker".
JAZZ SHOE-You can also purchase this shoe for class and
performances although it is not preferred it can be found easier and is
typically cheaper than the dance sneaker. This shoe can be found at
www.DiscountDance.com for about $20. It can also be found at
Capezio, Payless, Etc. You must buy it in BLACK. This is called a
"Jazz Shoe".
WHAT TO WEAR TO CLASS: Comfortable clothing that allows you to
move without restrictions. Any type of sweat pants/shorts and
workout wear. Please NO jeans, skirts or dresses! And always wear the
dance shoe specified for each class that is pictured above.
COSTUMES: Everyone who wishes to participate in the performances
must purchase the costume. You will pay Jackie in class at the
beginning of the session when applicable.

Learn the fundamentals of hip hop with this fun, entertaining class. Everyone
participates in a group performance at the end of the session.
Location: Gloria E. McClellan Senior Center 1400 Vale Terrace Drive
Fees: $52 Vista Resident for six weeks/$62 Non-Resident
