Materials to Buy:
SHOES: There are two different types of shoes allowed for this
class. You may purchase either one but "Jazz Shoe" is preferred.
The shoes are required for both class and the performances.
JAZZ SHOE- This shoe can be found at www.DiscountDance.com
for about $20. It can also be found at Capezio, Payless, Etc. You
must buy it in BLACK. This is called a "Jazz Shoe":
DANCE SNEAKER-You can buy this shoe and other ones similar at
www.DiscountDance.com for a good price ($25 and up). You can
also buy this shoe at Capezio but it is much more expensive. You
must buy it in BLACK. This is called a "Dance Sneaker".
WHAT TO WEAR TO CLASS: Comfortable clothing that allows you
to move without restrictions. Any type of sweat pants/shorts and
workout wear. Please NO jeans, skirts or dresses! And always wear
the dance shoe specified for each class that is pictured above.
COSTUMES: Everyone who wishes to participate in the
performances must purchase the costume. You will pay Jackie in
class at the beginning of the session when applicable.

styles. Combinations are done across the floor to improve upon kicks, turns, single
pirouettes and various leaps. Jazz dance moves and short routines will be taught.

Fees: $50 Vista Residents for 6 weeks/$60 Non-residents
