Materials to Buy:
SHOES: This ballet shoe is required purchase for class and for
performances. You can find it for about $13.00 at
www.discountdance.com . This is called "Ballet slipper". You can
find this shoe at payless and possibly Wal-mart and Target as well.
You can also purchase this shoe at Capezio at a much higher price.
You must buy this shoe in pink.
WHAT TO WEAR TO CLASS: Comfortable clothing that allows you
to move without restrictions. Any type of sweat pants/shorts and
workout wear. Please NO jeans, skirts or dresses! And always wear
the dance shoe specified for each class that is pictured above.
COSTUMES: Everyone who wishes to participate in the
performances must purchase the costume. You will pay Jackie in
class at the beginning of the session when applicable.

LYRICAL
Lyrical is an interpretative kind of dance. Students gain fluidity of movement, grace,
control, individual expression and self-confidence. The dances in many ways reflect the
actual lyrics of the songs. Lyrical focuses on soft and flowing movements similar to
ballet with a jazz twist. Everyone participates in group performances including one at the
end of each session, parades, and other various performances.

1/24-2/28 Thursdays 5:00pm-5:30pm 3years & up
3/6-4/10 Thursdays 5:00pm-5:30pm 3 years & up
4/17-5/22 Thursdays 5:00pm-5:30pm 3 years & up
Location: Thibido Community Center, 1150 Lupine Hills Dr.
Fees: Vista Resident $50 /Non Resident $60 (6 weeks)
